On the west side
of the beautiful mountain city of Asheville, NC is a local body of believers in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at Starnes Cove Baptist Church.
We are founded for the purpose of serving the
kingdom of God in our community according to the teachings of the
scriptures. We seek to provide a warm and caring fellowship in what
can be a cold and cruel world. It has been said that we have a very

are a mid-size congregation, large enough to provide ministry for
all age-groups, but small enough to know one another and be known.
We are members of the Southern Baptist Convention, NC Baptist Convention,
and the Buncombe Baptist Association.

Baptist Menís Day will be held Sunday, February 16th. Men and boys of all ages are invited to participate in the menís choir. Rehearsal will be Wednesday, February 12th, 6:30 pm.
Saturday, February 15th, beginning at 11:00 am, several local potters will join forces to provide hand-made pottery bowls; volunteers of our church will provide the food and all thatís left is for us to enjoy the results!
A donation of $15 will include: your choice of a hand-made pottery bowl, soup, bread, drink and dessert.
The proceeds will go towards the Back Pac Program at Sand Hill-Venable Elementary School.
